A case was opened, the professional received the log but was unable to assess the cause, as he had no experience with BluAge or Java, so it had no effect. But I managed to resolve it with the help of friends who already have experience on the platform. There is a spelling error in the BLUESAM connection parameter in the "carddemo-application.json" file, the parameter instructed in the workshop material places the parameter without the letter "e" blusam instead of bluesam.
We cannot provide any answer/guidance without more information. Please share the complete log file.
The Workshop is only functional (for now) with the 3.2.0 version of the runtime, and a wrong version could trigger the error described in the post. Please check your M2 environment configuration to confirm you are running the application with the 3.2.0 runtime.
