Hi, you have another option than BuildedID if you have an AWS account: via IAM Identity Center, see https://docs.aws.amazon.com/codewhisperer/latest/userguide/codewhisperer-auth.html Can you try it to see if you can start working?
On my side, I just connected with JetBrains Intellij: it's working fine beyond step 8 until completion. Please, make use that you have up-to-date IDE config (in particular AWS Toolkit plugin, which is the component connecting your IDE to AWS cloud to allow work by CodeWhisperer)
My IntelliJ config on MacOS is:

Also, which IDE, are you using? JetBrains or VS Code?
That's correct. I am using VS Code.
I'm getting the exact same issue. It is just rotating after Step 8 (entering email id). And this is happening with all browsers and with any email id. Tried with both VS Code and IntelliJ - same issue.
