Monit alternative on AL2023

Hello, We used to use monit [1] on AL1, mainly to restart automatically some apps in case of crash. We are now migrating our EC2 instances to AL2023 and monit is not part of the default packages anymore [2]. Is there an easy alternative recommended for AL2023, or should I try to compile and install it from its sources? Thanks Regards

Hello.

The default repository of Amazon Linux 2023 does not include a package called monit, so I think it is better to install it from the source code as described in the document below.
