Can RDS Oracle EFS Integration use an EFS ID on a Shared VPC

0

I've successfully used RDS Oracle EFS Integration using an EFS located in the same AWS Account as the RDS Database. However, I would like to be able to use an EFS created in another AWS Account under our AWS Organisation. The EFS and RDS Oracle DB all reside on the same Shared VPC across both accounts, but when I attempt to add the EFS_ID of the other EFS it states "EFS <EFSID> was not found.".

Are there plans to allow EFS integration on Shared VPC's or must the EFS be local to the RDS Oracle Account?

Looking at the comment from Raja below this blog post it suggests that in case of cross-account access the EFS name must be resolvable in DNS.

Is the enableDnsSupport attribute is turned on for the VPC?
