How to add Traces to Gin APIs using ADOT and send them to AWS X-RAY

I have seen repos/docs with Gin/open telemetry, Go and AWS X-RAY Daemon, but my use case requires to add traces as a middleware to the existing Gin apis we have in our EC2 microservices, but I am struggling to find any resources regarding to this.

Can you expand on your use case, are you not able to use manual OpenTelemetry instrumentation for your Gin APIs? What is the gap with the current repos/docs with Gin/open telemetry?
