Amplify Auth always shows email/phone verification screen after sign in

I added Amplify Auth to a React Native/Expo app. Everything works, except after I sign in it always shows the email/phone verification screen. I have already verified the email via a code, and it shows as verified in the Cognito user pool. I use Email as the Cognito user pool sign in, and set the pool to only verify email, not phone number.

Is there a way to have the verification screen not show up after sign in?
