I don't have access to the email for my AWS account

0

I can not sign in to my old AWS account because my google account *****@gmail.com) was deleted. I do remember password to AWS account, but can not receive confirmational 6 digital code. I tried almost every way to recover my google account, but it was unsuccessful.

  • You're advised to remove your email address from your question, for your own security. Even just replace it with xyz@gmail.com

Even though you don't have access to that gmail address right now, re:Post is a pubic forum and you don't want somebody else finding a way to access that gmail address, and from there using your AWS account which will contain personal info & credit card info.

Hlo,

**Contact AWS Support: **Reach out to AWS support and explain your situation. They may be able to assist you in regaining access to your AWS account, especially if you can provide them with other identifying information or proof of ownership.

Verify Ownership: If you have any documentation or information related to your AWS account, such as billing statements or account details, provide this information to AWS support to help verify your ownership of the account.

Recovery Options: AWS might have alternative methods for verifying your identity and regaining access to your account. They may ask you security questions or provide other means of verification.

Legal Documentation: In some cases, providing legal documentation such as a government-issued ID or other forms of identification may help in the recovery process. AWS support can provide guidance on what documentation is required.

**Update Contact Information: **Once you regain access to your AWS account, make sure to update your contact information to ensure that you can receive important notifications and alerts in the future.

**Prevent Future Issues: **Consider setting up additional security measures for your AWS account, such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) with a different authentication method (e.g., authenticator app or hardware token) to avoid similar issues in the future.
