Why S3 invoicing 0,01$ every month?

0

Hi,

I can not find what makes me cost of 0,01$/month on Amazon Simple Storage Service. Some months ago I created buckets, but I deleted them, so I dont understand this cost, since I do not use s3. Cost and usage breakdown shows: US East (N. Virginia) but I still cant find the reason of billing.

Do you have any idea?

Other services make use of S3, e.g. RDS snapshots are stored in AWS-managed buckets (not in your buckets) but you are still billed for the space they consume, and it will come up on your bill as "S3".

Could it be something like that?

If you're being billed for Amazon S3 usage despite not actively using it, there could be several reasons behind it:

Storage of objects: Even if you've deleted buckets, there might still be objects stored in Amazon S3. Check if there are any residual objects left in your S3 buckets that might be incurring storage charges.

Data transfer: If there was any data transfer in or out of your S3 buckets, you might incur charges for data transfer. Ensure that there are no ongoing processes or services transferring data in or out of your S3 buckets.

Request fees: Amazon S3 charges for requests made to your buckets, such as GET, PUT, LIST, etc. If there were any requests made to your buckets, even after deletion, they might result in charges.

Data transfer acceleration: If you had enabled Amazon S3 Transfer Acceleration for your buckets, there might be charges associated with that.

Logging and monitoring: If you had enabled logging or monitoring for your S3 buckets, there could be charges associated with these services.
