Hi. There could be many reasons why the payment is not going through, but it usually indicates that AWS is unable to verify your payment method or billing information. You should double-check the payment method (credit/debit card) and billing address you provided. Log in to the AWS Management Console, and go to the "Billing & Cost Management" section. Check if your account is in the "Pending" or "Suspended" state.
Hi StefanoB,
Thanks for your response.
FYI,
I am using Free Tier account and trying to deploy Databricks 14 days free tail. I have added my credit card details as payment method.
I checked the section you mentioned here however nothing is stated as "Pending" or "Suspended". Below is the error when attempting to subscribe for Databricks data intelligence platform.
"Invalid payment method You used an invalid payment method during your last attempt to create an agreement. Provide a valid payment method and then try creating the agreement, again. For more information, see Payment errors in the AWS Marketplace Buyer Guide."
I also tried to check online but didn't find anything useful or any proper solution. I also re-added the paymeny method but still no any luck.
Do you know what else can be done here to sort this issue?
Hi, it's hard to say. The error message "Invalid payment method" typically occurs when there is an issue with the payment method (credit card) you provided while trying to subscribe on AWS Marketplace. I'd suggest to ensure that the card is not expired, has sufficient funds, and is not blocked or restricted for online transactions. If the issue persists, you can contact AWS Support for further assistance. They may be able to provide more insights into the issue or help you resolve it. When contacting support, provide them with the error message, the product you're trying to subscribe to, and any relevant details about your payment method.
