Hi,
Amazon WorkDocs uses permissions to control access to folders and files. Permissions are applied based on user roles.
The owner of the folder and files in workdocs must be contacted. Once the request is made, you won't be able to access but the owner can see it under workdocs tasks if you're referring to a specific folder.
If you want to know who owns the workdocs folder, it's worth checking your internal references.
Refer this for more info on Workdcos permission - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/workdocs/latest/userguide/permissions.html
Thanks,

I'd add that under normal circumstances, when you request permission from within WorkDocs it emails the owner of the file with that request.
