Why does the detection model act differently between different metric statistics?

I have anomaly detection enabled on a metric, however the band is different in terms of standard deviation, shape, and even shift. I.e. the band is different whether I use Sample count over Sum, even if the two plotted values are similar. (I know that they are different stats but in this case they have the same values)
