OpenSearch Data Distribution

Question

We are using Opensearch cluster with 5 Data node and 3 master Node.
Before some days, I have added a new node into my OpenSearch cluster, but still the node upgradation process is running.
I have checked in my kibana and found that there is 5 node storing the data and new nodes don't have any data.

Is there any way i can distribute the data on all newly added node

The Service automatically balances shards across the data nodes. Make sure that the shard size is even across index and follow these practices : https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/opensearch-rebalance-uneven-shards/.
If the above criteria is met and the shards are still unbalanced then reach out to the AWS Customer Support.
