Open Search Stuck on Service Software Upgrade

We were having performance issues with our cluster. We decided to try and fix the issue by upgrading the Service Software. It has been stuck for more than 24 hours trying to: Copying shards to new nodes - 1703 of 31099 completed.

The count is not increasing. It is a small instance. Please advise. Domain ARN: arn:aws:es:us-east-1:942426213180:domain/linkbot

Hi,

You need to create the support ticket, so the AWS internal team can take a look. If you don't have a paid support plan you can do it in the billing section explaining that the managed service you are paying for is in not working state.
