Hello,
Greetings!
I would like to mention that, this is the default behaviour of Connect CCP. I went ahead and followed the same instructions mentioned in the github link provided by you and I also witnessed the same scenario.
Furthermore, when a chat is transferred to the agent2 by agent agent1 and if the browser is refreshed before agent2 accepts the chat, then, the session is lost for the agent1 and agent1 is moved to the "After chat work state".
I went ahead and checked the same thing using connect's default CCP from connect console and witnessed the same thing here as well.

Sorry for the delayed response. I was trying to get assistance from AWS Tech through account engagement. What would be the fix or alternate solution?
