Error when changing to S3 Glacier Deep storage on a large file - Part number must be an integer between 1 and 10000, inclusive

0

Hello,

I get an error when migrating a 180GB file.

"Part number must be an integer between 1 and 10000, inclusive..." I've tried this about 4 times now, from S3 Standard to Glacier Deep Archive.

Unfortunately there is no remedy for this, old forum entries now also do not show any information on how to do this if the web-gui fails.

Furthermore, there is probably no AWS support that you can ask.

Support from you would be great, otherwise I have to delete the file online, it would be too expensive for me to leave it "up" in the standard S3.

Kind regards

Please refer to this documentation: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/storage-class-intro.html#sc-howtoset. You can change an object's storage class using the Amazon S3 console if the object size is less than 160GB. If larger, we recommend adding an S3 Lifecycle configuration to change the object's storage class.

I did add the life cycle rule and will report if it fixed things, thanks.
