Very new to AWS, need help calling an api through triggering a lambda function that will store the api data in an s3 bucket

Hello, I have been trying to solve this myself but I have not found any luck. I need help calling on an api url using lambda and I need it to bring that .json data into an s3 bucket. All I could find was people using API gateway, but I have been told to just use lambda. This is the url for the api call https://data.nasdaq.com/api/v3/datatables/ZILLOW/DATA?indicator_id=ZSFH&region_id=99999&api_key=__afpDhxkYvt5XZzfEB-
Please help!

Hi, this should be pretty easy to do ... the 2nd time you do it!  There's no getting around having to invest some time getting up to speed.  Here's some pointers:
* You can schedule the Lambda to run regularly using EventBridge.
* Use some package in the language you use to get data from the nasdaq URL, e.g. in Python you could use urllib.
* Call AWS API functions to access S3 from the Lambda using the official API packages, e.g. in Python use boto3. https://boto3.amazonaws.com/v1/documentation/api/latest/reference/services/s3/client/put_object.html.
