Amazon Opensearch Service - JWT

Question

Hello and good afternoon! I have a Opensearch cluster working where I use Basich Auth + JWT. I am planning to move from my VM environment to use "Amazon Opensearch Service". For that, I've created a test cluster, but I don't find a way of adding/Enabling JWT as an authentication backend. Is it supported by "Amazon Opensearch Service"?

The support for JWT authentication is only available with Open Distro for Elasticsearch. A workaround is to use Cognito user pool where you add an external IdP.
