AWS not responding in 24 hours of production SES

Hi, we have an open case to request access to SES production. We are in a critical situation where our application makes use of cognito user creation, and we have started running marketing campaigns to bring in new users. It turns out that we made the SES production request because we exceeded the cognito limit of 50 emails per day, and no new users can create an account anymore. The 24 hours mentioned for a response from AWS have passed, but nothing so far. The case ID is XXXXXXXXXXX.
