Question

Our Lightsail Wordpress multisite install has been working well.
I am attempting to update needed plugins and received this message: "To perform the requested action, WordPress needs to access your web server. Please enter your FTP credentials to proceed."

I'm using a keyfile for our SFTP, and our normal user/password produced this error: Failed to connect to FTP Server www.quietlyworking.org:21

As you can see here, there may be a problem with access permissions.  
Make sure your Lightsail web server user has write access to the WordPress directory.

Also check if the following settings are done in "wp-config.php".  
```
define( 'FS_METHOD', 'direct' );
```
