proxy blocking our request to certain websites

Hi there, We are running a .NET Core backend in a container on AWS lightsail. We are using scrapper which send requests to comics.org address. However, amazon proxy returns the following error message of "ProxyError('Cannot connect to proxy.', OSError('Tunnel connection failed: 403 Forbidden'))" When we try the same requests to other websites such as openlibrary.org or api.igdb.com etc. ,everything goes smoothly without any issues. The problem is only with the comics.org . Do you think this something that we can resolve on our end or is amazon supposed to add comics.org to their list of permitted websites. We were also thinking if this is because we are using the basic account and it may be resolved when we upgrade to a paid plan. Does the basic plan come with a limited proxy scope? Thanks

  • I'm not familiar with any Amazon-operated proxy - could you share details about that?

Hi, Brettski-AWS. Thanks for your reply, We are not actually using a special amazon proxy service. It is just the nature of the error message
