Hi Jayaprakash, Sorry to hear that you've faced this issue. For Cloud Intelligence Dashboards we require only Enterprise Subscription for QuickSight without Q or any other additional features which should charge you not more than 24 USD - https://aws.amazon.com/quicksight/pricing/. Additionally there is a fee for each user/reader which is $0.30/session up to $5 max/month. In this case could you please:
- Check if you have only Enterprise subscription for QuickSight
- Check how many users using the dashboards I also recommend to open a support case for our billing team and reference this conversation so they could contact me internally if help needed

I think it's strange that it probably cost 5000 USD.

Ok, I was trying this lab in my personal account, before I run in Enterprise account. But a bill of 382 USD for a couple of usage and 5000 USD for a month is too high. This is scaring me away from using Cloud Intelligence Dashboard for my customers now
This is the split of the bill for two days of using CID in personal account
QuickSight USD 308.00
Elastic Compute Cloud USD 0.41
Glue USD 0.03
QuickSight Enterprise Edition should cost 24$/month per one author. Please check if you enabled QS Enterprise Edition without Q, also check that the you have User pricing mode and not capacity pricing. Also pleas check what is the amount of SPICE storage you've provisioned and what's the amount used. As I mentioned it looks like a misconfiguration of QuickSight, it's a first time we receive such request and usually Cloud Intelligence Dashboards cost is stays within $50 - $100 per month depending on the customer size and amount of users. To assist you further please open a support case for billing team, you can du that in personal account as well and please reference this chat.
