Keeping with the Free Tier while sending SMS notifications

Question

Hi, I am very new to AWS and have SNS connected to pinpoint with an origination number with the goal to send users automated texts through a python script. So I am still on the free tier, however hit my quota for the month while sending under 1,000 requests. I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas on how to stay in the free tier while being able to send SMS text notifications to users within the United States.

I don't see that SMS messages are available in the Free Tier for Pinpoint.
